SERENADE Strengthens Its Position in Smart and Sustainable Food Storage at the 2nd External Advisory Board Meeting
March 2, 2026We are pleased to share that our PhD Candidate, Ahmad Farid Ehsan, will present part of his research developed within the SERENADE Project at the Sensor Based Sorting and Control 2026 (SBSC 2026) conference, taking place on 17–18 March in Aachen, Germany.
His presentation, titled “Automated FTIR/XRF-based Characterization and AI-Based Polymer Type Classification and Regression to Define Filler Concentration for Mixed Plastic Waste Streams”, explores advanced approaches that combine automated material characterization techniques and artificial intelligence to improve the identification and analysis of polymers in mixed plastic waste streams.
By integrating sensor technologies with AI-driven analysis, this research contributes to more accurate material classification and supports the development of more efficient and sustainable recycling processes.
Participation in SBSC 2026 offers an excellent opportunity to share SERENADE’s research with the international scientific and industrial community working on sensor-based sorting, material analysis, and circular economy solutions.
We look forward to sharing more insights from the conference soon.
